      A Portland native, Dr. Austin Hayes is a fellowship-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon who’s known for his personable bedside manner and technical skill that produces natural-looking results. Dr. Hayes’ surgical expertise performing breast augmentation, labiaplasty, and body contouring procedures such as tummy tucks attracts patients from throughout Oregon and the Northwest. He also has specialized training in hand surgery and microvascular surgery used for breast reconstruction patients.

      Dr. Hayes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon with a degree in General Science before earning his medical degree from the Ivy League’s Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, one of the most prestigious organizations that recognize exceptional academic achievement. Dr. Hayes returned to the Pacific Northwest, where he completed a surgical and plastic surgery residency at the University of Washington. He served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery during his final year of residency. After completing residency, Dr. Hayes again crossed the country to train in hand and upper extremity surgery at The Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, MD, after being selected for a fellowship. Dr. Hayes returned in 2014 to Portland, where he’s been working as a plastic surgeon.
